Group Applauds Nigerian Military, Other Security Agencies for Containing Insurgency

An Advocacy group, One Nation One Destiny Advocacy and Awareness Initiative has commended the Nigerian military and other security agencies on their efforts to eradicate banditry, kidnapping and terrorism in recent times.

The group also gives kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR on his commitment to finding lasting solutions to the challenges of insecurity bedeviling the nation in different dimensions.

In a Press statement signed by its group National Coordinator, Hajia Khalima Kabir Lamisila and received by THECONSCIENCEng, the group emphasised the need to prioritise experience and leadership qualities over undue sentiments and nepotism in choosing leaders to handle the helm of affairs.

She noted that leadership task is not a rocket science as “Experience plays a significant role, particularly in the area of nation building.

In the same vein, Nigerians were admonished to choose individuals with proven attributes of high level leadership skills and security intelligence cum pragmatic abilities in 2023.

Lamisila maintained that, “This will help in consolidating the effort of the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari as he hands-over the mantle of leadership of our dear nation come 2023.

She therefore advised the agitators for secession to sheath their swords and come to discussion table to proffer meaningful suggestions on how to move the country forward.

The statement was released after the group’s meeting held at the Advocacy office in Abuja, which had in attendance Engr. Jeleel Haleem, Mallam Abdulrahman Aliagan and Mr. Olatunbosun Awe.
