Fun-loving Nigerians were treated to an exhilarating pre-Christmas experience on Tuesday at the esteemed Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, as the Davido Flytime fest concert took place on December 24, just hours before Christmas Day.

The evening was filled with vibrant Afrobeats music, dance, and entertainment, all made possible by Nigeria’s premier financial institution, FirstBank, as part of its annual DecemberIssaVybe campaign.

Davido, recognised globally for his electrifying performances, captivated the audience by delivering hits after hits. The superstar also welcomed other artists, including Odumodublvck, Morravey, Boy Pee, Hyce, and Brown Joel, amplifying the already charged atmosphere.

The venue buzzed with energy as the singer also known as OBO delivered an exhilarating performance. With hits like “Feel,” “Unavailable,” “Funds,” and “Dami Duro,” the audience was taken on a musical journey that celebrated Nigerian creativity. The energy was contagious, with fans singing along to every lyric, making the concert a memorable experience for all.

In high spirits, Davido performed a mix of tracks, igniting excitement among fans as he seamlessly blended his classic favorites with his latest chart-toppers, keeping the crowd lively and eager for more as the night turned into Christmas morning.

A highlight of the evening was when Davido teamed up with Odumodublvck and Chike to perform “Funds,” showcasing the artistic brilliance that has made him a household name. The crowd erupted in cheers as he followed with an impressive rendition of his hit single “Ova Dem,” a reminder of his leading role in the Afrobeats genre.

The 30BG boss once again demonstrated his prowess not only as an entertainer but as a maestro capable of transforming a concert into an unforgettable experience.

Through the DecemberIssaVybe initiative, FirstBank has sponsored numerous arts and entertainment events, ensuring that people enjoy the best of the Christmas and holiday seasons, in alignment with its First@Arts initiative, which underscores the bank’s commitment to the arts and creative industry.
