Church Needs ‘More Money Than The Average Business’ – Odumodublvck
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that the Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has reaffirmed his deep commitment to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), declaring that if he had a billion naira to give, he would gladly contribute it and even more.
In a post on X, the artiste stressed that serving God is a matter of personal conviction, not compulsion, adding that financial contributions alone do not determine spiritual salvation.
“As for me and my household, we will continue to support the work of Christ shamelessly, no matter what you people throw at us.
“It is not by force to serve the Lord; they did not say that if you do not drop 1bn, you will not enter heaven,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck criticised the growing trend of ridiculing those who support the church, pointing out that ministry work requires significant resources for logistics, evangelism, and welfare.
“Shey na Holy Spirit dey fuel the gen? Na Holy Spirit go pay for logistics for evangelism? The church needs money, much more money than the average business,” he stated.
He further noted that many pastors and priests extend financial help to members in need, urging critics to recognise the church’s role in supporting individuals and communities.
For Odumodublvck, giving to the church is not just about money, but about purpose, faith, and taking action to advance the work of God.
