Russia-Ukraine: FG Releases Update for Nigerian Students
Nigerian government says it has set the ball rolling on efforts to provide admission for Nigerian students who fled Ukraine or Russia due to the war between both countries, into any of the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Recall that the Russia-Ukraine war led some Nigerians students studying in both countries to cry out to the Nigerian government for help to return home. By March 10, the Federal government announced that 1, 076 of the students have been evacuated to Nigeria while others chose to go to other countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
in a statement released today July 4, said the Federal government asked that the said
Nigerian students interested in continuing their education in a Nigerian university, visit the website of the ministry for assistance.
