Hon. Akerele Ganiu Endorses Kike Delano For Ifo LG Chair Ahead Elections
Chief Kike Delano’s ambition to emerge as the next Ifo Local Government Chairman under the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC has received a massive boost.
This is as a prominent politician in Ifo and a former aspirant for the Ifo LG chairman, Hon. Ganiu Akerele has expressed support for her candidacy.
Baba Kekere, as he’s fondly called stated this while receiving members of his support group after the stakeholders meeting on Friday, May 21, 2023 who paid him a courtesy visit in his country home in Ifo.

“I am confident that Mrs Kike Delano has all it takes to steer the wheel of progress in Ifo Local Government . Considering her activities and track record, she deserves to be our leader, come July.
When she gets there, she will do all we want,” he said. According to the Hon. Akerele, with Chief Mrs Kikelomo as Chairman, all the prayers of Ifo people for our communities, constituencies and wards will be answered, particularly on the issue of development.
Earlier, Akere had said, Ifo must unite and speak with one voice, ahead of July Local government elections. He urged the APC members and electorates not to divide its house ahead of the election.
“Madam Delano has all it takes to lead our local government, being a detribalised woman who is close to her Homefront and who loves the masses and is blessed with enormous wisdom,” he said.
“The more the number of members from our Constituency, the more the goodies; democracy is a game of numbers. Let us come en-masse so that we can have high figures to show them that we are committed to the party, and to our leaders” he said
