Prayers, Visionary Leadership Gave APC Rivers Supreme Court Victory – Eze

APC Rivers chieftain Eze blasts Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike over state exclusion from federal grant
Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC Rivers State said it is internally reassuring and worth celebration to see the  triumph over some political merchants and notorious desperados.

Eze’s cheery comments came on the hills of fresh Supreme Court judgement which nullified the Aguma led excos of the party. The party has witnessed instability and internal crises which have almost crippled the APC Rivers State for over six years.

Recall that the Supreme Court just on March 5 affirmed the sacking of Igo Aguma as the chairman of the caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rivers State.

The apex court’s decision concurred with the Court of Appeal in Abuja which had sacked Mr Aguma and recognised the Isaac Ogbobula-led caretaker committee as the authentic leadership structure of the party in the state.

It also, like the Court of Appeal, overturned the June 10, 2020 judgment of the Rivers State High Court in Port Harcourt, which installed Mr Aguma as the leader of APC in the state and sacked the Ogbobula-led committee which was constituted by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

Attributing the judgment to the Almighty God, Eze said neither the workmen conscripted to do the devilry, nor their covert and sneaky overlords knew that God works in mysterious ways.

In a statement to THECONSCIENCE on Wednesday, Chief Eze said detractors of the APC Rivers state had boasted that nothing will make the Rivers APC participate in the ongoing nationwide registration and revalidation exercise of the party, let alone participate in the 2023 general elections.

But its true leaders including Rt. Hon. Dr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, erstwhile Governor of Rivers State and incumbent Minister of Transportation, rose to the occasion and called for prayers.

“We prayed! We fasted!! and God, in His majesty, came down to deliver His children and today, we are not only participating in the APC nationwide Congress but are now well positioned to kick off PDP from the Brick house come 2023 no matter the level of obstacles that may come our way”, the party stalwart assured.

Eze commended Rt. Hon. Dr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for bringing back the miracle of the Supreme Court declaration of November, 2007, when after several months of fasting and prayer he was declared Governor of Rivers State, to repeat in March 2021 after several months of fasting and prayer.

Almost thirteen years after, the Supreme Court again restored hope and life to the people of Rivers State with its historical judgement that brought back APC on the lane in the politics of Rivers State.

Eze stated further that Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside, his wife, and Prophet Henry Ugboma the Chief Medical Director of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital UPTH also played key roles.

Eze commended every member of the APC for their steadfastness and assured that the party is set to take over power and right the wrongs of the current PDP administration in Rivers State and called on all Rivers People and those doing businesses in Rivers State to join and register with APC, to make Rivers State and Nigeria move forward because APC is a sure way to victory come 2023.
