Covid19 in Nigeria new cases picked up again across the country with four dead and 155 new cases of the virus recorded in 16 states on Monday.
Confirmed new cases of the deadly Covid19 in Nigeria recently dropped significantly in most zones but has continued to rise again especially in the South West and Northern regions fueled by persistent new cases in Lagos, Plateau, FCT, Kaduna, Rivers and Ebonyi States leaving the figures fluctuating between the hotbed states, TheConscience reports.
This online newspaper gathers that government authorities late Monday released the latest reports with Lagos topping again with 42 new cases.
According to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control NCDC new figures released on its website late Monday September 7, 2020, 4 deaths and 155 freshly confirmed new cases were recorded on the Covid19 in Nigeria as the rate persists nationwide across the zones.
From TheConscience Covid19 in Nigeria analysis, South West, North Central, South East and South South zones recorded 62, 47, 25 and 21 of the 155 new cases respectively on Monday September 7.

According to NCDC, “On the 7th of September 2020, 155 new confirmed cases and 4 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 424,186 have been tested, 55160 cases confirmed, 43231 discharged and 1061 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 155 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (42), Plateau (25), Rivers (16), Ebonyi (10), FCT(9), Abia (9), Ogun (9), Osun (7), Katsina (6), Kaduna (6), Ekiti (4), Taraba (4), Edo (3), Anambra (2), Akwa Ibom (2), Kano (1)
