President Tinubu Receives 3 West African Leaders in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu has held meetings with leaders of West African states of Benin Republic, Patrice Talon, Niger Republic, Mohammed Bazoum and the Guinea, Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo at the presidential villa, Abuja on Tuesday.
The three neighbouring African Presidents came separately and were received at the forecourt by the Brigade of Guards before they proceeded to Tinubu’s office.
The guests arrived at the seat of power before noon.

Although no advance information was made public at the time of filing this report, they were expected to focus on strengthening security in the sub-region.
President Tinubu was recently elected as the Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government.
The move, which signalled trust and confidence among other leaders of the region, shored up his reputation and political acceptance at home and further raised his stature and status as a key leader on the continent of Africa.
