Terrorists Abduct 6 Family Members Of ASUU Chairman
Suspected terrorists have invaded the residence of the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities at the Federal University of Gusau (FUGUS), Abdurrahman Adamu and kidnapped at least six of his family members.
THECONSCIENCEng gathered that the attack on the ASUU chairman’s home in Damba Quarters, Gusau, Zamfara state was carried out in the early hours of February 2, 2022.
A close relative of the ASUU leader disclosed that five of the kidnapped persons were taken from the chairman’s home.
The kidnappers also abducted a neighbour, who is also a staff in the bursary department of the university.
Meanwhile, the ASUU chairman did not sleep in that house on Tuesday night, and as such, he was not present when the raid took place.
Those abducted in the ASUU chairman’s house include his younger brother, a niece, a nephew, and two of his wives’ younger sisters.
“Five of them and one Abbas Umar who is his neighbour and also a staff of Bursary Department, Federal University Gusau,” the source disclosed.
However, the police authorities in the state are yet to confirm the latest abductions.
