Sunday Dare Commiserates with Families of Slain Iseyin Youths
Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr Sunday Dare has expressed dismay, shock and sadness over the killing of some youths in Iseyin, Oyo State, even as he condoled with their families.
The youths were killed during a shoot out between customs and some drivers allegedly trying to evade being searched at the Iseyin border town in Oyo State.
Mr. Dare described the incident as sad, unfortunate and a huge loss to their families, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
” I received the sad news of the unfortunate killing of the Youths in Iseyin, Oyo State by Custom officers with a huge sense of loss, pain and sadness. This incident is most unfortunate, sad, and avoidable. It’s so tragic that these promising youths were cut down in their prime”

The statement further said: “The life of every Nigerian is sacred and should be protected and not wasted. I call on security agents to investigate the circumstances surrounding the killing and bring the culprits to book.
Mr Sunday Dare prayed for the bereaved families, ” I pray God comforts them, my deep thoughts are with them in these trying times, I urge them to take heart”.
