Speed Darlington Alleges Assassination Attempt
Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington on Monday said he narrowly escaped an alleged assassination attempt.
While hinting his fans on X, he said the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday on his way from a club in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State.
The allegation comes just days after his release from detention in Kuje prison where he was held for undisclosed charges.
Also in a video shared on his Instagram page, Darlington revealed that unknown gunmen shot at his car multiple times, leaving it severely damaged.
The video footage showed bullet holes at the rear of the vehicle.
He wrote “Long face sent killers my way, and I have not even posted anything. Bro, is this necessary? You tried to take my life. Really?” he said, visibly shaken in the video.
“I never talk anything he don dey send killers, what is he scared of! That means am right.”
