Socialite Who Distributed Petrol At A Party Arraigned In Lagos
Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl has been arraigned before an Oshodi Special Offences (Mobile) court for distributing Premium Motor Spirit PMS to guests at a party.
The socialite was arraigned before Magistrate Kehinde Ogundare on March 14, 2022 on a four count charge for distributing PMS as souvenir during her installation party in Lagos.
The offences violate section 251(1), 168 (1), 244 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 and Section 195 (2)(b) of the Environmental Management Protection Law of Lagos State 2017.
The defendant was granted bail of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.
Chief Magistrate Ogundare ordered that the addresses of the sureties be verified and that they must present three years tax clearance paid to Lagos State government.
The matter was however adjourned till March 24, 2022 for trial.
