JYPA President Applauds Senator Adeola on Victory at Election Tribunal

A coalition of youth political groups known as the Joint Youth Progressive Alliance, JYPA, has hailed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, fondly called Yayi, over his resounding victory at the Election Petition Tribunal on Thursday.
A statement from the President of the group, Prince Kunle Adeyemi, on Friday in Lagos, said the well deserved victory signals a triumph of democracy and the will of the people.
“The Joint Youths Progressive Alliance JYPA extends a hearty congratulations to an illustrious leader and politician, Senator Solomon Adeola, on his reaffirmed triumph at the Election Petition Tribunal in Ogun State.

“This landmark victory marks a refreshed era for the fulfilment of the yearning of the people. His rich experience, leadership abilities and political competencies offer a remarkable opportunity to foster significant development through effective legislation that will engender people oriented policies and interventions, ” the statement noted.
The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting at the Magistrate Court in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, had affirmed Adeola’s triumph as the duly elected lawmaker for Ogun West Senatorial District in the last February 25 National Assembly election.

Delivering its judgement in the Senatorial election Petition marked EPT/OG/Sen/2023 and filed by the Peoples Democratic Party senatorial candidate, Dada Adeleke, Justice Kabir Gabo–led three-man panel dismissed Adeleke’s petition for “lacking in merit.”
The panel affirmed Senator Adeola of the All Progressives Congress as the validly elected lawmaker for Ogun West as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Adeyemi prayed for God’s guidance over the Senator for the benefits of the good people of Ogun State especially people of his constituency.
