54-year-old Fuji Musician, Saheed Osupa Graduates Again from University

Popular Fuji musician, King Saheed Osupa, has graduated with a Bachelors Degree (second-class upper) from the Political Science department of the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Recall that Osupa, in 1992, had completed a National Diploma programme in Business Administration from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, in his native Oyo State.
The singer took to his official Instagram page to celebrate the feat on Wednesday.
Posting pictures from his convocation ceremony, he captioned, “Today, I attended the Convocation ceremony of the University Of Ibadan, where I graduated from the Department of Political Science with Second Class Upper Credit.
“The public should be aware that King (Dr.) Saheed Osupa Akorede is a graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan, Class 21’.”
Born Akorede Babatunde Okunola but more known by the stage name Saheed Osupa or King Saheed Osupa, the Nigerian Fuji singer is also a prolific film actor in the Yoruba segment of Nollywood, starring in popular movies including Agbere Oju, Alukoro, and many others.
The singer who began his music career as a teenager in 1983, long before completing his secondary education at Amuwo Odofin High School in Lagos, in 1987, is often considered one of the greatest Fuji musicians with over 40 studio albums including a 4-in-1 studio album titled Mr. Music.
