What Portable Said About Burna Boy Collaboration And N20m

THECONSCIENCE NG reports that controversial Nigerian singer Portable has reacted to receiving a surprise N20 million gift from Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy, following his recent boxing match victory over Speed Darlington.

In a video response, Portable expressed shock and gratitude over the generous gesture, especially since he and Burna Boy had never previously interacted or communicated directly.

“I’ve been trying to reach Burna Boy on Instagram, but he never replied. I don’t have his number, he doesn’t follow me, yet he still sent me N20 million,” Portable revealed.

Despite the significant gift, the singer didn’t hesitate to ask for more—this time, a musical collaboration. The singer humorously noted that he could spend the money in just one day and suggested that a feature on a song would be a meaningful follow-up to the monetary gesture.
