He urged other football enthusiasts yet to participate in the promotion to download the PalmPay app, upgrade their KYC, follow PalmPay and StarTimes on Social Media, and pay their StarTimes subscription on the app to participate in the promo.

One of the lucky winners of a one-month free StarTimes Super subscription, Babajide Michael, said he was excited about his win and thanked PalmPay and StarTimes while urging other customers who are yet to join the promotion to do so.

“When I took part in the promo, the truth is I never expected to win a free StarTimes one-month subscription. I was excited to get a notification that I had won. I encourage other PalmPay users to participate in the promotion,” Mr Babajide said.

Speaking before the start of the campaign, Lazarus Ibeabuchi, Marketing Strategy and Public Relations Manager, StarTimes, said the company was “looking forward to the success of Team Nigeria and rewarding our subscribers with loads of goodies.”
