Hon. Omolola Essien Commends LASIEC, Says She will Win With a Landslide

Hon. Mrs Omolola Essien the Chairman Mainland Local Government and the All Progressives Congress APC Chairmanship Candidate in Lagos Mainland Local Government who also doubles as The Conference 57 chairperson has commended the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, adding that the preparation level was quite encouraging.

THECONSCIENCEng reports that Mrs Omolola Rasheedat Essien who spoke to journalists shortly after casting her vote at her polling unit Lagos said LASIEC’s preparation was commendable.

Hon. Omolola Essien Commends LASIEC, Says She will Win With a Landslide

“You can see that they are well prepared and very ready for the election quite promptly. Everything is ready on time and they are well organised.”

The Chairman also commended the state electoral body, LASIEC, for the excellent performance seeing so far during this election, stating that Lagos state through LASIEC has proved that a hitch-free election is possible.

She added that the initial low voters turn out was because people wanted to see how things are and they will troop out en mass after observing that all was going well.

“A lot of the people will soon come out. They are waiting to see that everything is going smoothly and they will start coming out. Everyone is aware of what we have done at the local government and aware of the election today. They will come out soon.”

Mrs Omolola Essien expressed optimism that the electorates will vote for her. “I am 99 per cent sure. We will win. The other parties will share the 1%. By the grace of God.”
