NSCDC Intercepts Truck With stolen Fuel In Rivers
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has confiscated a long container truck containing 70,000 litres of stolen petroleum products in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The agency, in a post on Monday, said the illegal fuel was hidden in an inbuilt storage tank within the truck.
The post noted that the operation was carried out by the NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad as part of ongoing efforts to combat oil theft and illegal bunkering in the region.
The post reads: “NSCDC commandant general special intelligence squad impounds long container truck with 70,000 stolen petroleum products stored inside inbuilt storage tank in Port Harcourt.”
