Nigerian Air Force Opens Recruitment For 2025 Training Course

THECONSCIENCE NG reports that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the commencement of applications for its Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025, calling on qualified Nigerian youths to apply online free of charge.

According to the notice issued by the Air Force, the recruitment exercise opens on 14 October and will close on 25 November 2025. Interested applicants are to visit the official recruitment portal at www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng or (http://www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng) to complete their applications.

The exercise is open to both tradesmen and non-tradesmen within specified age limits. Non-tradesmen applicants must be between 18 and 22 years of age, while tradesmen applicants must fall between 18 and 27 years. All candidates must be Nigerian citizens and meet the required medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards of the Air Force.

Applicants must possess a minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS examinations.

Those applying as tradesmen or sportsmen must also present professional certificates and other relevant qualifications.

The notice stressed that the entire application process is free of charge, warning applicants to beware of fraudulent agents or unofficial websites.

Candidates are also required to print acknowledgment forms, consent forms, and attestation documents to be signed by specified local government or security officers.

Successful candidates will later be invited for zonal aptitude tests and further screening at designated Air Force centres across the country.

The announcement was signed by Air Vice Marshal AH Bakari, for the Chief of the Air Staff, who encouraged qualified Nigerians to seize the opportunity to serve their nation with pride and professionalism.

For more information, applicants may contact the helplines or email addresses provided on the recruitment portal between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
