Lebara Nigeria Partners Slot to Deepen Telecom Access, Expand Retail Reach Nationwide
New entrant in Nigeria’s telecommunications sector, Lebara Nigeria, has announced a strategic partnership with Slot Systems Limited aimed at accelerating nationwide access to mobile connectivity, digital services and telecom products.
TheConscience NG reports that the partnership represents a significant step in Lebara Nigeria’s phased market entry strategy following its formal introduction into the Nigerian market earlier this year through a stakeholder engagement and soft unveiling event.
Under the collaboration, Lebara’s products and services — including SIM cards, prepaid mobile plans, international calling and data offerings — will be distributed through Slot’s extensive retail and online network across Nigeria.
Speaking on the development, Chief Executive Officer of Lebara Nigeria, Mrs. Teniola Stuffman, described the alliance as critical to the company’s expansion drive and customer accessibility strategy.

According to her, the partnership will enable Lebara to leverage Slot’s nationwide presence and trusted consumer reputation to rapidly scale its market penetration.
“Our partnership with Slot is an important step in how we bring Lebara closer to Nigerians. As we move from launch into full market presence, it is critical that customers can access our services through trusted and familiar touchpoints,” she said.
Lebara Nigeria recently entered the market as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), operating on the 0724 number series. The company said it intends to differentiate itself through what it describes as its “Telco Trinity” model — affordable pricing, reliable service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Stuffman said the company’s long-term objective aligns with Nigeria’s digital economy agenda by widening connectivity access to underserved communities, entrepreneurs, students and everyday consumers.
She noted that Lebara’s international footprint in countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia and Saudi Arabia positions the company to introduce globally competitive telecom solutions into the Nigerian market.
“We are here to ensure wider network coverage and broader digital inclusion so that every Nigerian, regardless of location, can access digital technology and communication services,” she stated.
The CEO also emphasized customer trust as a central pillar of Lebara’s global brand identity, citing the company’s strong international customer ratings and consumer satisfaction benchmarks.
As part of its market-entry strategy, Lebara disclosed that it is also partnering with device manufacturers to improve access to mobile phones alongside telecom services, ensuring easier onboarding for subscribers nationwide.
Also speaking, Founder and CEO of Slot Systems Limited, Mr. Nnamdi Ezeigbo, described the collaboration as a strategic move that will expose Nigerian consumers to more advanced global telecom innovations and digital experiences.
According to him, the partnership will not only improve access to connectivity services but also enhance availability of innovative telecom-enabled mobile features currently underutilized in the Nigerian market.
“Lebara is bringing global telecom benefits to Nigerians — from internet connectivity to innovative services and digital features that are more advanced and consumer-focused,” Ezeigbo said.
He added that Slot’s nationwide retail infrastructure and rapidly growing online sales platform would help accelerate market access for the telecom operator, especially among Nigeria’s increasingly tech-savvy youth population.
Ezeigbo further noted that Lebara’s MVNO model allows it to collaborate with existing network infrastructure providers rather than invest heavily in building telecom towers and base stations from scratch — a structure he said would improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
