Lagos Governor Blasts Gani Adams: Get Your Facts Right
Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu, has faulted Gani Adams over statement credited to him on Amotekun bill.
Recall that Adams had in an interview at the weekend claimed that while the other five states in the South-West had signed the Amotekun bill into law, only Lagos state has refused to do so for inexplicable reasons.
“The process of Amotekun started in July 2019 and the South-West governors agreed to establish Amotekun. Five governors in the South-West have signed the bill of Amotekun into law but Lagos State has not signed its bill into law” Adams had claimed.

But in a swift reaction, the lagos governor debunked the claim, charging the Aare Ona Kakanfo, Gani Adams, to get his facts right.

In a chat with Independent, Gbenga Omotosho, the Commissioner for Information said the state government passed the bill into Law in March this year.
“He didn’t get his facts right. Lagos State has signed Amotekun into law. It was done in March this year. You can find out yourself as a journalist. He may not have that information” Omotosho said.
