THECONSCIENCE NG reports that Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially released his highly anticipated fifth studio album titled 5ive.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the singer set the stage for the album’s release with three pre-album singles: “Be There Still,” “Funds” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and “Awuke” featuring YG Marley.
5ive is a 17-track project that showcases collaborations with both local and international stars, including Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, Shensea, and others.
On “Funds,” Davido delivers his trademark high-energy performance, while Odumodublvck brings gritty intensity, perfectly balanced by Chike’s smooth vocals. The track “Titanium” featuring Chris Brown explores the emotional resilience needed to face a destructive relationship.
In “Offa Me,” featuring Victoria Monét, Davido expresses a raw and sensual desire for a lover, while “Nuttin Dey” is a confident declaration of his staying power in the music industry.
