APC Leaders, Stakeholders Hail Gov Sanwo-olu over Tayo Ayinde’s Reappointment

Prominent leaders and key stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress APC in Lagos State have commended the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu over his re-appointment of Mr Tayo Ayinde as his Chief of Staff.
The leaders including Cardinal James Odunmbaku (Baba Eto), Mr Kola Peregrino, the General Manager of Lagos Printing Commission and former Organising Secretary of the now defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and other notable leaders of the party who called at the home of Ayinde on Friday to congratulate him expressed delight on the appointment.
The leaders who described Ayinde’s appointment as most suitable expressed confidence in his capacity to provide necessary administrative support for the governor to achieve smooth and well coordinated governance to residents of the state.
They also commended Governor Sanwo-olu on the move, describing it as strategic and well received.
Tayo Ayinde has played a pivotal role in the smooth administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu’s government starting from his role as the Director General of the Governor’s Election campaign in 2019 during which he led the party to a resounding victory.
It was no surprise that he was appointed to the strategic role of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Ayinde was again at the helm of affairs and at the top of his game as the Director General of the Governor’s Re-election Campaign in March 2023 where he brought his understanding of the state polity, resilience, character and experience to bear to clinch a second term for Sanwo-Olu against all odds.
His re-appointment was therefore welcomed as a positive development and well received by all stakeholders.
