#Igbos Have Benefited Well in Lagos Under Gov Sanwo-Olu – High Chief Emmanuel Eriobuna, Onowu Of Meiran Land

As the 2023 Governorship Election gathers momentum in Lagos State and nationwide, the political atmosphere has been intensified with electioneering campaign at its peak.

The atmosphere in Lagos particularly has become quite interesting and exciting as the incumbent, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu is seeking re-election with forces jostling to take over the Seat of Power in Alausa.

The race however appears to be between Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Olajide Abdulazeez Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of Labour Party.

High Chief Emmanuel Eriobuna, the Onowu of Meiran Land, of #Igbo extraction has called on the electorates to vote enmasse for the re-election of Governor Sanwo Olu because of his antecedents and his positive impacts in making the State a Mega City.

Eriobuna said it was imperative for all electorates to rally around the re-election of Governor Sanwo Olu due to his brilliant performance in terms of security that has seen the State witness peace, peaceful coexistence, and safeguarding of lives and property of residents.

He noted that the governor has particularly been very kind to #Igbos in the state, and has ensured an atmosphere that allows #Igbos to thrive in business and benefit in many ways.

He revealed that the #Igbo Communities benefitted significantly on several occasions from Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration, including trailer loads of food palliatives received during the Covid-19 through the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Ogbonnaya Aguene.

“As a businessman, I can categorically say our interest has been well safeguarded by the state government. We do our businesses without disruption or discrimination.

“All over the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Area, the #Igbos also enjoyed the largesse of the state governor regardless of tribe or ethnicity.

“We the Igbos benefitted well. The Governor has performed brilliantly in the last Three and Half Years, and there is need for him to be re-elected for the second term “ he stated.
