Popular online content creator and actor, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has blasted Wema bank over theft of intellectual property and creative fraud.

TheConscience confirmed that The popular actor and rave of the moment well known for his “You are doing well, Oiiin” slang and viral video skits took to Twitter on Sunday to condemn the popular bank for stealing and using his intellectual materials illegally, saying the bank is not doing well and its action was deceitful and fraudulent.

Mr Marcaroni who has become quite influential online with thousands of viewers on Youtube and Twitter went on to blast the company for going so low.

Visibly angered, he tweeted: Wema bank, you are not doing well!!!. Using my intellectual property is one thing but going ahead to use the image of another person along with it is deceitful, fraudulent and extremely low from a bank of your repute.”

Wema bank social media handlers weekend had uploaded a creative and inspirational post on it’s social media platforms tagged “You are doing well, ” an obvious plagiarism of Mrmarcaroni’s creative slangs.

The action infuriated the actor who went online to call out and drag the bank.

Wema bank is Nigeria’s longest surviving indigenous bank, established in 1945.

Mr Babatunde Kasali is the Chairman of the Bank while Ademola Adebise is the Managing Director/CEO;
