US Election: Fani-Kayode, Others Disagree on Donald Trump Win
Reacting to the Presidential US election, former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode said God has stopped the witch and granted former President Donald Trump victory.
Fani-Kayode said there is nothing ‘they’ did not do to stop Trump, including trying to jail and kill him but the Lord was with him.
THECONSCIENCENG reports that he made the assertion in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.
The statement comes as Trump wins the election including at many key battlegrounds like Georgia and North Carolina.
He posted: “The Lord stopped the witch & granted @realDonaldTrump victory.
“This is the greatest comeback in the history of politics. There is nothing they did not do to stop him including trying to jail & kill him but the Lord was with Him.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! He is faithful, He is true! Glory be to His holy name. Congrats to @realDonaldTrump!”
However, popular Arise TV host, Rufai Oseni said he will never support Donald Trump even after winning.
The On-Air Personality stated this in a post on his official X handle on Wednesday morning following reports of Trump triumph.
Oseni insisted that the 45th and 47th President of the United States will never have his support.
He stated: “Despite his win, I will never still support or like Trump, I think it’s a bleak day for the world.
“A world where politics of fear and division wins only reminds me of a Hitler like world and the rise of right wing nationalism will only catalyze the forces of evil around the world.
“My global outlook is that of a plural world, that embraces diversity and looks to hope in place of fear, Trump is the opposite of what I envisage for the world”.
Many prominent Nigerians have expressed mixed reactions about the development.
The Democratic Party Candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, and United States President, Joe Biden have both called Donald Trump to congratulate him, stressing “the importance of working to bring the country together” and “importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans.”
