Tayo Ayinde Pledges Continued Loyalty, As Sanwo-olu Swears-in CoS for Second Term
Mr Tayo Ayinde, the re-appointed Chief of Staff to the Lagos State’s Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu was on Friday sworn in by the Governor for a second term in office.
Ayinde’s re-appointment came following a four-year brilliant tenure which was characterised by impeccable administration and coordination of both the state government and party affairs drawing commendations from various stakeholders, party leaders and political analysts in the state.
He was also said to have displayed uncommon loyalty, diligence and dedication to the Governor and his THEMES Agenda.
The ebullient and versatile Ayinde who had earlier served during the Governor’s election campaign as Director General also served as the Director General for his reelection campaign which saw him staved off the Labour Party’s rising profile in the state and returned the Governor to power in a landslide victory.
Sources said the All Progressive Congress APC’s turn around from the Presidential Election setback to the Gubernatorial election’s impressive triumph against the roaring LP in the state could be traced to Ayinde’s leadership and transformational capacity.
It was said that it Ayinde as the campaign arrowhead who mobilised all the party apparatchik and galvanized all key actors and machinery to orchestrate the well applauded turn around.
In a reaction after the swearing in ceremony, an elated Ayinde said his second term in office means continued dedication, loyalty and diligence to his Principal and state duty.
“My unalloyed gratitude goes to Mr Governor, party faithfuls and Lagosians in general for believing in this administration. I am rededicating myself for more work to the upliftment of our dear state.
“For me, this second term offers a fresh opportunity for continued loyalty to Mr Governor; also for continued dedication and diligence in delivering my tasks as assigned by Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, our amiable Governor.”
