An unidentified pastor has caused a stir on social media following the instructions he gave his female church members during a crossover service.
In a livestream video during the service, the pastor was seen asking his female members to strip and move forward for the ‘holy bath’.
The ladies however proceeded to tie towels while another pastor rubbed them with olive oil.
According to the pastor, he got the directive from above adding that he knows it might cause controversy but has no option than to obey the spirit.
The pastor said he engaged in the ritual to cleanse his female members to be “holy and pure”‘ for the new year.
