Senator Tokunbo Abiru Mourns Lagos APC Treasurer, Mrs Sumbo Ajose
The Senator representing Lagos East in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru has mourned the passing of Mrs Sumbo Ajose, the treasurer of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Adviser on Media and publicity to the Senator, Enitan Olukotun described Ajose’s demise as a personal and painful loss to Senator Abiru.
“ Mrs Sumbo Ajose faithfully and diligently served as the Secretary of the Finance Committee in my Senatorial campaign directorate last year.
“Alongside other members of the campaign team, Ajose distinguished herself as a thorough professional in the discharge of her assignment”.
“I commiserate with the family of the deceased, our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC and the entire people of Lagos over this irreparable loss. I pray that Almighty God comforts the family she left behind”, Senator Abiru mourned.
