Controversial Singer Portable Opens up on Slapping preacher
Controversial street-pop artist, Portable has opened up about a recent incident where he was caught on video slapping a preacher at his bar.
The controversial singer in a new post has requested forgiveness after slapping the clergyman who came to speak at his club.
The singer received mass outrage from netizens and other preachers, who threatened to take action against him for attacking a man of God following the incident.
God, and if he was a man of God, may God forgive me for slapping him. If I knew he was a real man of God, I won’t have slapped him. The way he acted was why I slapped him, I’m a human being and I’m not perfect,” he said while apologising for his actions.
In a video posted on Monday, Zazu crooner pleaded for forgiveness.
While pleading with God for forgiveness, he revealed that he attacked the pastor because he believed he was there to bring spiritual damage.
“My fans, community issues are different from that of the street. May God forgive me. I didn’t know he was a genuine man of God. If I knew I wouldn’t have slapped him.
“I’m also a child of God. I’m human, I’m not perfect. I am an orphan. They have harmed my sister through this same strategy.”
