Expert advises on need for regular dental check up
The Managing Dentist, Choice Dental hospital, Dr Sade Akiode, has advised Nigerians on the importance of regular dental checks.
Akiode who stressed the importance regular dental check upon Sunday in Lagos, said its has been proven that regular dental check ups helps to protect teeth from damage.
She said, “Our focus is on preventive dental care. Regular dental checks will prevent further damage to the teeth. Our preventive dentistry includes comprehensive dental examination, digital X-rays, sealant, oral cancer screening, and dental cleaning.”
The expert who had over 20 years of successful dental practice in the United States of America said the teeth is which is a very delicate part of the body needs special care and attention.
