Reuben Abati, Sani, Other Critics Laud President Tinubu over Swift Leadership Approach

Many skeptics who criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the build up to the 2023 general elections are beginning to commend his swift approach to leadership which appears to be steering the direction of the nation to the path of progress.

Just within weeks into his administration, unlike his predecessor, Mohammed Buhari, who was roundly lambasted for his sluggish approach, Tinubu has hit the ground running, churning out policies and programs with far reaching impact on the nation.

Some of the policies include the removal of petroleum subsidy which has almost crippled the nation’s economy as well as the students loan Act amongst others.

Dr Reuben Abati, a popular Arise TV anchor who was known for his critical views on Tinubu was full of praises for him at the weekend

Speaking on the popular tv show, Abati commended President Tinubu for his outing in France where he represented the country well.

On a very bright note, he said, “Great outing for President Tinubu. Good outing also for Nigeria. I saw a piece by Femi Fani Kayode where he said in just three weeks, Tinubu has done so much; he has re-invigorated the Presidency. We expect more from him as the number one salesman and number one diplomat for the country and number one foreign policy architect.”

Similarly, Senator Shehu Sani took to his Twitter handle to laud President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing his belief as to the reason why Nigerians seem to be excited over the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

You will testify that upon his assumption to office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has surprised Nigerians by effecting changes that have been long overdue. His emergence as president is being celebrated by many Nigerians following his drastic actions towards the things that are going wrong in the country.

Senator Shehu Sani seems to be one of those who appreciate the changes the President has made few weeks of his assumption to office.

In his tweet on Thursday, Senator Shehu Sani said that the excitements Nigerians are currently expressing is understandable.

According to him, the nation journeyed through eight years of a leadership which he described as boring, indecisive, weak, and outsourced leadership that has no vision. He further said that the previous leadership which he also described as “gang” held Nigerians captive for eight years.

He reiterated that the nation waited for long, even for a modest action that never happened.

Shehu Sani added that the previous administration wasted its opportunity, power, as well as the time of the country.

According to him, owing to Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence as President, Nigerians are now apparently witnessing a gradual dismantling of the defective pillars upon which the former president rested and wasted his opportunity and powers, and the time of the country.

Others including popular clergymen have also applauded President Tinubu for his approach aimed at turning around the nation’s fortune.
