Oniba Hails Gov Sanwo-olu on Red Rail, Charges Residents on Effective Use

Oba (Dr) Sulaimon Raji-Ashade, the paramount ruler of Iba Kingdom, has congratulated Governor Babajide Sanwoolu on the commissioning of the Lagos’ Red Rail project on Thursday.
In a statement made available to the press on Friday by his media aide, Olalere Samuel Owoseni, the monarch commended the governor for putting up projects that are Lagosians centered, charging the people to efficiently use the alternative means of transportation in the state.

“The Red Rail project is a testament to Governor Sanwoolu’s commitment to serve the people of Lagos State and we are happy that the rail will ease the traffic congestion in our city. Our people should use it well so we all can benefit from the train,” Oniba said.
The Lagos monarch also congratulated President Bola Tinubufor conceiving the idea 25 years ago and witnessing the opening of the project as the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He said: “President Tinubu is a visionary leader who has seen tomorrow and have made adequate plans for it”.
