Police Brutality: See officers accused of harassing and assaulting corps member
As reports of Police brutality continue to increase in the Lagos, some officers were seen harassing and assaluting a corps member on Thursday.
Yesterday a corps member by the name Temidayo David was in the company of his brother heading for Ojota. At Ikorodu garage, they were stopped by police officers who started harassing them.
They showed them their ID card as they were dressed in NYSC uniform but the police insisted they must come to their vehicle to be searched, which they refused.
One of the officers in Mofti punched the corp member and removed his cap while his brother was dragged like a criminal.
When this happened, he quickly drew the attention of the people to the development.
The officers having caused a scene quickly snatched his younger brother’s phone and zoomed off to their station saying they should come to their station.
