During interrogation, Shamsudeen Hassan reportedly confessed to shooting the security guard who attempted to stop the gang from entering the apartment. Sani Sirajo also confessed to trying to prevent Maduagwu from falling off the three-storey building during the incident, but said he was unable to hold her due to her weight.
