Olojo Festival: Gov. Oyetola, Toyin Kolade, Onoja, Others Grace Epoch Event
The Olojo Festival has been described by Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi as one of the most popular festivals in Yoruba land that deeply celebrate the black race all over the world.
THECONSCIENCEng reports that this year’s edition is however unique and dynamic as top notch dignitaries across all sectors stormed Ile-ife for the historical and cultural festival.
The event which started early hour on saturday and several traditional rites were performed.
Meanwhile, Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola who was represented by his deputy Benedict Alabi said Olojo festival was created by olodunmare and everyone should live together in peace and always promote our culture.
However, Ooni of ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi prayed for the good people of ile ife and Nigeria at large, he noted that Olojo Festival remains an inspiring spiritual noble cause and priceless inestimable gift to the world from Eledumare.
In the same vein Iyalaje Oodua Princess Toyin Kolade advised the good people of yoruba to support culture as Olojo Festival is father of it all, she noted that all the prayers that our father Ojaja II prayed for us shall be answered, by next year all of us shall come here to testify to the good things that the lord will do for us, Toyin Kolade added.
Dignitaries present were Governor state of Osun Governor Gboyega Oyetola, represented by his deputy Mr.Benedict Alabi, Iyalaje Oodua Princess Toyin Kolade, Royal Father’s, Deputy Governor Kogi State, Mr David Onoja, House of Representatives members, Media Practitioners, Sons and daughters of Osun State, traditional rulers, clergymen among others.
