…As Osoba, Akande, Talabi, Ashiru, Tegbe, Others Applaud Legacy of Growth

The Group Chairman of Odua Investment Company Limited, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru and numerous other dignitaries across various sectors have paid glowing tributes to the outgoing Chairman and Group Managing Director GMD of the group, Dr. Segun Aina, and Mr. Adewale Raji, respectively.

Some of the dignitaries who took turns to applaud the duo’s legacy of growth and excellence at the company includes former governor of Ogun State, an elder statesman , Chief Aremo Olusegun Osoba; first female minister of Industry, Chief Mrs Onikepo Akande; Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr Olatokunbo Talabi; Former Director at KPMG, Engr Joseph Tegbe and Managing Directors of OICL subsidiary companies.

In his own remarks at a farewell party held in their honour in Ikeja, Lagos, on Saturday, Otunba Ashiru highlighted how both leaders have significantly contributed to the transformation and repositioning of the company, enhancing productivity and making lasting impacts during their tenures.

He stated, “Their time in leadership has set a standard for integrity, innovation, and excellence. Under their guidance, OICL has become stronger, more resilient, and well-positioned for future success.”

With enthusiasm, the Chairman remarked, “Without a doubt, the timeless efforts, strategic insights, and ability of these two distinguished individuals to navigate opportunities and challenges with grace have left an indelible mark on the legacy of Odua Investment Company Limited.”

Odua Chairman, GMD Bow Out Amidst EncomiumsHe continued, “Today, we celebrate not only their remarkable achievements but also the relationships they have fostered, the values they have instilled, and the culture they have helped create.”

Describing the theme of the event as “Celebrating Years of Legacy: A Journey of Transformation and Growth,” the chairman reflected on their collaborative efforts as inspiring. He praised their vision, dedication, leadership, and relentless pursuit of excellence, which have significantly shaped the success and reputation of OICL.

The Chairman said the evening not only marked a farewell to the esteemed gentlemen but also served as an opportunity to express profound gratitude for their immense contributions.

Chief Osoba described the duo as distinguished Nigerians that contributed greatly to the growth and development of the Odu’a Group.

In her own tributes, Chief Akande stated that the company’s impressive trajectory is a result of the dedication and outstanding performances of the retiring leaders.

In the same vein, Talabi described both celebrants as visionary leaders who played remarkable roles during their tenures at the group.

Tegbe in his words described the duo as thorough well breed administrators, noting that their tenure witnessed a lot of developmental aachievements.

Also, Mr. Abdulrahman Yinusa, the Group Managing Director, noted that the occasion was filled with deep reflection, fond memories, and heartfelt appreciation. “As we conclude this memorable celebration, I would like to thank everyone who took the time to honor these remarkable leaders—Dr. Segun Aina, OFR, and Mr. Adewale Raji.”

He acknowledged that their leadership, vision, and passion have laid a solid foundation for the future growth and transformation of Odua Investment Company.

He noted: “You have led with vision, guided with wisdom, and inspired many with your relentless drive for excellence. Your tenure has elevated Odua Investment in ways that will resonate for years to come.”

He emphasized his commitments to upholding the high standards and principles set by the outgoing leaders. “Odua Investment is stronger today because of your efforts, and for that, we are truly grateful.”

“You will always be a part of the Odua family. As you both begin new chapters in your lives, we wish you continued success, happiness, and fulfillment in all your future endeavors. We hope to see you remain engaged with our broader community, guiding and inspiring us as we strive for greater heights.”

“May your legacies endure, and may you continue to inspire all those who follow in your footsteps,” he stated.
