NYCN Europe Appoints Dr Adekunle Badmus Youth Ambassador in Turkey
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Europe chapter has appointed Dr Adekunle Azeez Badmus, as the head of the council in Turkey.
THECONSCIENCEng reports that the Governor of the Council, Europe chapter, Ambassador Collins Idahosa stated this in a letter dated May 23, 2024, adding that the council and the youths would benefit tremendously from the experience and expertise of Ambassador Badmus, a vibrant youth leader, serial entrepreneur, eloquent youth and education advocate, as well as a diplomat on Government Bilateral Agreements and Ambassador for Quality and Affordable Education in Africa, based in Turkey.
He is also the Director, Goodmus Learning Centre and numerous other global educational organisations.
Commenting on the fresh appointment, Ambassador Badmus expressed enthusiasm and readiness to further step up the tempo on sensitisation of youths on education, self-reliance and social development.
He said: “My vision and plans as an Ambassador of NYCN Turkey is to embark on a crusade to promote education and entrepreneurship among the Nigerian Youth in Turkey and channel their energy towards meaningful engagements with a view to helping them maximise their potentials, making them viable employers of labour and contributing to the local economy in Nigeria.
“Sensitisation on education, poverty alleviation, entrepreneurship and social development will also guide the youths towards actualising their dreams and purposeful living,” he said.
Ambassador Badmus expressed gratitude to the Governor, council and all members of the NYCN, Europe Chapter for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to spare no efforts in making deep impact on the youths at home country and in diaspora.
