NECO Releases Full 2025 BECE Results
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that The National Examinations Council (NECO) on Wednesday announced the release of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.
According to a statement by Azeez Sani, Acting Director of Public Affairs, 179,201 candidates registered for the examination, which covered 12 subjects and was held from May 12 to May 23, 2025.
The release follows the successful conclusion of the BECE Award Committee Meeting at NECO’s headquarters in Minna.
The chairperson of the committee, Dr. (Mrs) Folake David, Director of Basic Education at the Federal Ministry of Education, expressed satisfaction with the process.
Also present at the meeting were school principals from across the country and NECO management officials.
NECO further announced that the BECE re-sit for Mathematics and English Studies will take place on July 23 and 24, 2025.
