Mr Ibu, Veteran Nollywood Actor Dies at 62

Another veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu is dead.
This comes less than 24 hours after the death of Quadri Oyebamiji popularly known as Sisi Quadri, another comic actor, at 44.
Mr Ibu who had undergone surgeries that led to the amputation of his leg finally succumbed to the cold hands of death on Saturday after a long battle with health issues and family conflicts, according to multiple sources close to him.
The late actor who passed on at 62 hailed from Enugu State.
He has been absent from limelight for over three years before the news of him being bedridden went viral.
In 2019 Mr Ibu had alleged that his kinsmen paid some of his domestic workers to poison him because of his successful career.
The comic actor again alleged that he was poisoned for the third time in 2022
Before his eventual demise, the actor said his sickness taught him a “big lesson”, adding that he is surprised that he was still alive.
