Monarch Arrested Over Alleged Land Dispute In Delta State

 

A traditional ruler of Okpanam Kingdom, Ogoani of Okpanam, HRM Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu, have been arrested by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force, Abuja, over alleged land dispute.

There was pandemonium in the community after unidentified operatives whisked the monarch away leading to speculation that he had been kidnapped.

Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, however, denied that the traditional ruler was kidnapped.

According to him, police operatives from Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) arrested the monarch over alleged land dispute.
