INEC Nigeria Announces New Date For Bye-elections In 11 States
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Nigeria has fixed December 5, 2020 for pending bye-elections across the country.
TheConscience gathered that this was contained in a statement on Friday, where Festus Okoye, INEC spokesman, said the 15 bye-elections would hold across 11 states.

The commission had suspended the elections as a result of the violence that broke out following the nationwide #EndSARS protests in October.

INEC has conducted the Edo and Ondo gubernatorial elections in 2020 in line with the Covid-19 guidelines and precautions to assure public safety during the elections.

INEC Nigeria has announced that many of it’s programs including candidate and party documentations are now to be done online in view of the covid-19 pandemic.
