Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has strongly canvassed for viable investment and development partnership between Nigeria and United Kingdom.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya made the move on Tuesday while speaking with newsmen on the sideline of UK- Africa Investment Summit holding in London.

The North East Governor noted that viable investment and development partnership with United Kingdom government as well as private sector would aid economic growth and development of Nigeria. He also used the visit to engage with investors and international development agencies with the aim of creating viable partnership that will deliver more investment, jobs and growth in the state.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya also featured on BBC Hausa Service personality interview during his visit to their headquarters in London. Recall that Gombe State Governor, two other governors and some cabinet members accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari to UK-Africa Investment Summit in London.
