Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya yesterday met with a joint team of Saudi and Chinese investors at the Government House.
Their discussion centred around exploring business and investment opportunities in Gombe State, especially in the areas of agriculture, financing, mining, education and social services.
Governor Yahaya told his visitors that Gombe State has huge potentials in agriculture, especially irrigation and livestock production as well as solid minerals , power, commerce and other sectors of the economy with a promise of good returns on investment.
The Governor who said Gombe State is ranked 6th amongst the 36 states of the federation in terms of ease of doing business, promised to provide enabling environment for investors, especially with the planned establishment of an industrial park in the state.
The team of investors was led by a frontline Saudi businessman, Mr Hani Bukhari and was aimed at attracting and boosting foreign investment for the State.
