Like Kylian Mbappe, Ethan Mbappe Signs With Lille After Leaving PSG
Kylian Mbappe’s younger brother, Ethan Mbappe has completed his move from Paris Saint Germain to another French Ligue 1 club, Lille.
Ethan Mbappe joined his elder brother, Kylian Mbappe, at PSG, on August 31, 2017, from a youth team, AS Bondy.
The 17-year-old centre-midfielder played for PSG’s youth team from 2017 to 2019. He was promoted to the club’s senior team on July 1, 2022.
In the just concluded 2023-2024 season, Ethan had the opportunity to play for PSG senior team in five competitive games.
Ethan thought he could play together with his elder brother at PSG for more seasons but that couldn’t happen as the 25-year-old striker decided to pursue his dream by moving to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Following that, his younger brother who didn’t want to leave France yet, decided to leave PSG for Lille to continue developing his football talent.
Ethan said: “I am very happy to join the LOSC. I look forward to starting this adventure and meeting my new teammates, the staff, as well as the supporters. For me, at my age, staying in France was the best option to progress. I think LOSC was the best project. It is one of the best in France. It’s a real pride to be able to play here.
