Dad Rapes 17 year old in Bauchi
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that Umar Sule, a 50-year-old resident of Kariya in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, has been arrested for repeatedly raping his 17-year-old daughter and getting her pregnant.
The alleged abuse took place while the girl’s mother was away in Burra, Ningi Local Government Area, visiting her own parents — leaving the teenager alone with her father.
A medical examination has confirmed that the victim is three months pregnant, with findings indicating that her biological father is responsible.
Confirming the incident to journalists on Friday morning, the spokesperson for the Bauchi State Command, CSP Ahmed Wakil, stated that both the suspect and the victim were currently in police custody as part of the ongoing investigation.
