President Tinubu Celebrates Renowned Banker, Dr Segun Aina At 70
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt congratulations to an esteemed banker and former Chairman of Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL), Dr. Lawrence Olusegun Aina, as he prepares to celebrate his 70th birthday on January 31.
In a statement released on Wednesday from the State House in Abuja, President Tinubu applauded Dr. Aina for his immense contributions to Nigeria’s development.
He highlighted Aina’s distinguished career, which spans over three decades, including six years as the chief executive of a prominent bank.
The President acknowledged Aina’s pioneering efforts in the fintech sector, recognizing him as a visionary leader who founded Fintech Associates Limited in 2002.
Moreover, as the former president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Aina was instrumental in creating the Africa Fintech Network, serving as its founding president. He also held the position of chairman at Odu’a Investment Company Limited from 2020 to 2022.
President Tinubu encouraged Dr. Aina to persist in his contributions to the nation’s progress and expressed his wishes for God’s enduring grace and good health for the esteemed banker.
