Autolife Fest Boosts Safety, Wellness With Free Vehicle Checks and Health Screenings in Lagos
Scores of Nigerian car owners and wellness enthusiasts benefitted from free comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and personal health checks at the 2025 Autolife Fest held in Surulere, Lagos.
Organised by K-Kool Automobile and Academy, the event aimed to promote overall wellness for both car users and their vehicles, featuring fitness sessions, aerobics, dance and an automobile quiz.

Managing Director of K-Kool Automobile and Academy, and convener of the festival, Engineer Increase Kayode Oshorun — a broadcaster and automobile engineer — said the initiative was designed to enhance the wellbeing of both motorists and technicians under the theme “Drive, Dance, Thrive.”
Addressing car owners, partners, wellness and auto enthusiasts, technicians, students and guests, Oshorun described the event as a milestone in efforts to transform and redefine Africa’s automobile culture.

He recalled that the idea, conceived in 2015, began as a vision to create a platform that would not only repair cars but also restore relationships and confidence within the community. Over time, it has evolved into a movement fostering trust, education and professionalism in the automobile industry.
According to him, mistrust between car owners and technicians has long weakened the industry in Nigeria, with owners often doubting technicians’ integrity and technicians feeling undervalued.
Autolife Fest, he explained, was established to bridge that gap through learning, collaboration and respect.
Oshorun said the festival serves as both a community and an educational platform, bringing together car owners, mechanics, engineers, automobile companies and wellness experts to highlight the link between healthy drivers and well-maintained vehicles.
Through Autolife Fest, participants are educated on proper vehicle maintenance and the use of quality parts, while technicians are empowered through training and certification offered by the Automotive Training Academy Africa. The event also promotes health and wellness, recognising that physical and mental fitness enhance safety and performance on the road.
He reaffirmed the vision to extend the initiative beyond Nigeria, promoting respect for technicians, informed vehicle ownership and innovation across Africa. Through K-Kool’s academy, young professionals are being trained not only to repair vehicles but also to embody integrity, transformation and pride in their craft.
