RealtorMax Moves to Fix Housing Deficit, Allocates Plots to over 300 at 500-acre Eco-friendly UrbanMax Estate

By THECONSCIENCEng

Urban congestion, skyrocketing accommodation fees and housing shortages in Nigerian cities especially Lagos have continued to bother government, private sector and other stakeholders.

In fact, these challenges have dominated real estate discussions and agenda setting fora for years.

RealtorMax, a fast rising Lagos based real estate firm which has reiterated a mission to solve these problems has further demonstrated its commitment and put smiles on faces of Nigerians as over 300 buyers and investors at the weekend received their plots of land with necessary documentations at the UrbanMax Estate in the Siun area of Ogun State.

The move was in fulfilment of the company’s promise to allocate plots to subscribers promptly as against the sharp practices rampant in the industry where after collecting payments from unsuspecting buyers, dubious real estate firms vanish into thin air.

The 500-acre estate, designed to be an eco friendly environment, is one of the company’s initiatives targeted at developing new towns around the Lagos-Ogun State corridors at affordable rates to ease accommodation burden on the public.

The elated subscribers asides getting allocation certificates were also provided with basic support such as access to a block industry and security, and were encouraged to begin construction immediately to actualise their dreams of home ownership following the ceremony which held on Saturday January 20.

The UrbanMax Estate located at Obafemi Owode local area and designed for both residential and commercial use sits around the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, close to Nestle facility, International Breweries and other strategic property.

The visionary and Chairman/CEO of Realtormax, Dr Micheal Adeyemi while speaking to journalists at the certificate presentation event, said the move was in fulfilment of the firm’s pledge to subscribers and a demonstration of its commitment to helping Nigerians actualise dreams of affordable house ownership.

“Today we are doing the first allocation of this estate to over 300 subscribers who have met the necessary requirements for their land ownership in one of our projects which is the Urbanmax estate, the dream city.

“When we launched this project about three months ago, we promised rapid development and today, those are already been done. Those who subscribed early are now enjoying return on investment and those who bought to build a home for themselves, with the current development that is ongoing, are now able to build at their convenience.

“In the next 90 days, we are going to do another allocation because at Realtormax we have formed a culture of being who we are and staying true to our words; when we tell people that they are going to get instant allocation we keep true to it.

“As you are buying, we will allocate for you and every three months we bring them to site to show them the exact location of their land on all our projects,” he noted.

Adeyemi urged all Nigerians to remain undeterred by their levels of income, insisting that with will and commitment, they can overcome financial limitations and become house owners.

“My message to everyone who wants to own a home is that, it doesn’t matter your level of income or anything, you can actually own a home and become a landlord in Ogun State, Lagos or anywhere else with Realtormax because we are giving people the opportunity to be able to access their own landed property at an affordable rate. For instance, this project was pre-sold at N400,000 per plot and after that it moved to N1.3M but the big news is that we are giving people again the opportunity to key into this through a 3 months promo. We are offering the project at a discounted price of N660,000, till April ending and while stocks last,” he said.

“You can buy to build or buy to resell. we are giving right documentations and developing infrastructure like gate house, perimeter fencing and other amenities. This helps to drive up the capital value of the property for owners and help them get more value for money, making it a great investment. We also offer opportunity for enterprise for young people to become our partners. All necessary documents are intact for the property.”

Customers and investors who attended the event in their hundreds were full of joy and excitement at the opportunity to own homes.

They commended the company for keeping to its promises.
