BREAKING: Buhari approves special salary for Nigerian teachers
To commemorate the World Teacher’s Day, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a special salary scale for Nigerian teachers.
The President has also increased the number of years of service of Nigerian teachers from 35 to 40.
The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, disclosed this in Abuja on Monday during the celebration of the 2020 World Teacher’s Day.

According to the minister, the new salary structure is to encourage teachers to deliver better services.
